Two Buddhas Approach

We all desire connection, friendship and love. Two Buddhas offers connection through meditation.

Our name and logo symbolize that love, friendship and creativity arise through connection.

Two Buddhas offers two distinct meditation communities. A non-religious, secular community sharing meditation for the physical, emotional and psychological benefits. And a Buddhist community for those who wish to add a spiritual dimension to their meditation.

Whether you simply want to relax, be more present and less stressed, or you desire to explore the deeper aspects of consciousness, Two Buddhas offers warm, loving, kind communities to enjoy the benefits of meditation.

Bringing meditation into our lives

There is no right way to meditate.

Meditation comes in all forms, styles and settings, and has been around for thousands of years. Every wisdom and spiritual tradition has some form of meditation.  Deep concentration and contemplation is a human capacity across all walks of life.

“If the heart wanders or is distracted, bring it back to the point quite gently… and even if you did nothing during the whole of your hour but bring your heart back… though it went away every time, your hour would be very well-employed.”

Francis Xavier 1622

Two Buddhas offers meditation using Buddhist techniques. However, the Buddha was not the first to teach meditation, nor will he be the last. The Buddha said, “Come Try It for yourself.” And when departing he would say, “Now is the time to do as you see fit.” Two Buddhas approach is experiential. Try it. If you like it keep doing it. If not we'll help you find other communities to explore meditation that works for you.

“Sit, be still, and listen.”

Rumi - 1250

Do good, do no harm, and purify one's mind, this is the Teaching of the Buddhas.
